CUAHSI Hydrologic Information System Workshop - Vermont 2009

THURSDAY and FRIDAY, June 4th and 5th, 2009

INTRODUCTION

This was a workshop held in Vermont to show people in the region that HIS is useful and that it provides a platform that should/could be used to serve water resources data.

Kristen Hallock <khallock@uvm.edu> was the main point of contact.

The workshop was 1.5 days long, with a basic overview of the HIS system as it is now, and mention some of the more critical elements within ODM and WaterML. Any remaining details would be addressed and guided by questions asked during the training portion of the workshop. The general schedule was:

  • Day 1
    • Morning - Introduction to CUAHSI HIS
    • Afternoon - Loading Data into ODM (workshop)
  • Day 2
    • Morning - Publishing a Data Service (workshop)
