CUAHSI-HIS Conference on Hydrologic Data and Information Systems 2011

HIS Architecture

June 22-24, 2011 • Utah State University • Logan, UT

Registration and abstract submittal for the conference will begin March 15, 2011!

CUAHSI's Hydrologic Information System (CUAHSI-HIS) is an internet-based system for sharing hydrologic data. It is comprised of databases and servers, connected through web services, to client applications, allowing for the publication of, discovery of and access to data.

  • Learn from the Experts about HIS, WaterML, HydroServer and HydroDesktop
  • Share your work with Information Systems and Large Scale Data Sets
  • Share your use of Hydrologic Data forTeaching
  • Interact with other Users and Developers
  • Share your work linking Data and Modeling
  • Show Science enabled by HIS
  • Experience numerous Hand-on Workshops
  • Contribute to the Future of HIS in the Open Source domain

Who should participate?

  • Researchers—search for data, retrieve data, organize data, visualize data or analyze data
  • Educators—use hydrologic data for teaching
  • Modelers—couple models and rely on data from multiple sources to test hypotheses and make predictions
  • Data Publishers—organize, store, and make data available to others
  • Developers—create tools for data publication, access, visualization, analysis and modeling
