Microsoft SQL Server

SQL Server Management Studio

A tool for accessing the data store directly. A Microsoft product, comes with SQL Server Standard or Express. Requires authentication, for Power-users/Data Managers only.

SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

This is a Microsoft developed module that comes as part of SQL Server Standard, which is part of the HIS Observatory Server bundle. Please note that SSIS does not come with SQL Server Express and so is not part of the HIS Observatory Server Lite bundle.

HIS Central Data Center

THE HIS Central Data Center provides the following services to help you publish and share hour data:

HIS Central Data Center

To publish and share your data as part of CUAHSI-HIS the following options are available

  • Establish your own HIS server with WaterOneFlow web services and register the WSDL with HIS Central [Link to web pages that provide instructions. Use the WIKI as an interim until these are more formalized.]
  • Load your data into ODM and make arrangements for HIS to host it. [Link to web pages on setting up enough of a server to load data into ODM. Contact Ilya Zaslavsky about sending ODM to SDSC for hosting.]
  • Have SDSC host a virtual HIS server for you [Contact Ilya Zaslavsky ]
  • Have SDSC configure and provide you with an HIS server [Contact Ilya Zaslavsky ]
