CUAHSI's Hydrologic Information System (CUAHSI-HIS) provides web services, tools, standards and procedures that enhance access to more and better data for hydrologic analysis.

Modeling with HIS

HIS has adopted the OpenMI framework as it's initial modeling standard and has developed several tools that are compatable with this standard:

  • HydroDesktop has a modeling plug-in that allows users to build OpenMI models that access data from within HydroDesktop.
  • There is also a WaterOneFlow interface for OpenMI, http://code.google.com/p/openmimodels/, but much of this functionality has been incorporated in the above HydroDesktop plug-in.
